CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund starting lineup vs Werder Bremen
By Tushar Bahl
Forwards: Marco Reus, Gio Reyna, Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland has gone seven games without scoring for club and country. He has still been influential in the goals Borussia Dortmund have scored in recent games. But his goal drought has certainly hurt the team in attack. And hopefully, he will be back on the scoresheet this weekend.
Marco Reus is finding a bit of form, which is a welcome sign for Borussia Dortmund. He also has an excellent record against Werder Bremen, and has scored in each of his last five league games against them. He will be aiming to lead his side to victory this weekend.
Gio Reyna makes hi return to the starting XI in place of Ansgar Knauff, who struggled against Manchester City. The USMNT international has endured a difficult few months, and hasn’t scored since December.
But after an encouraging second half performance against Stuttgart, Reyna will be aiming to start performing on a more consistent basis. Thorgan Hazard stays on the bench, having only been sporadically used in recent weeks.
