CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup vs Wolfsburg: Sancho starts
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund go up against Wolfsburg this weekend in what could be a make or break game for their hopes of playing Champions League football next season.
Five points separate third placed Wolfsburg and fifth placed Borussia Dortmund, with just four games to go in the Bundesliga season. The two sides face off this weekend, and anything other than a win would spell curtains for the Black and Yellows’ top four hopes.
Borussia Dortmund have won each of their last three games in the Bundesliga. And they do welcome Jadon Sancho back into the starting XI after the England international came off the bench against Union Berlin on Wednesday. Thomas Delaney is also back in training and starts on the bench.
One player who will miss the game though, is Mats Hummels. The centre-back collected his fifth yellow card of the season on Wednesday, and will now serve a one-match suspension.
Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund will line up against Wolfsburg.
Goalkeeper: Marwin Hitz
Fresh off his first clean sheet in more than a month, Marwin Hitz will be hoping for another quiet afternoon on Saturday. But with Wout Weghorst in excellent form, and Mats Hummels out suspended, Hitz will have to be at his best against Wolfsburg.
