Thomas Delaney is back in the Borussia Dortmund squad for Saturday’s crunch Bundesliga clash against VfL Wolfsburg.

Delaney has missed the last three games due to an achilles tendon issue, but made his return to team training on Thursday. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the Danish international trained with the team again on Friday, and was part of the traveling squad for the trip to Wolfsburg.

Gio Reyna has also made the trip after recovering from the knock which saw him get subbed off against Union Berlin. The 18 year old took part in Friday’s training session, and could start on Saturday.

Another player who could be in contention to start is Jadon Sancho. The England international delivered an impressive performance off the bench against Union Berlin. And Edin Terzic may well be tempted to name him in the starting XI on Saturday, depending on his fitness.

Borussia Dortmund traveled to Wolfsburg without three first team players. Mats Hummels is suspended for the game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Union Berlin on Saturday. In addition to Hummels, the Black and Yellows will also be without Ansgar Knauff and Felix Passlack. The duo weren’t part of the squad for the Union Berlin game either.

The game against Wolfsburg on Saturday could make or break Borussia Dortmund’s season. Edin Terzic’s side are currently five points behind Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga standings. And anything other than a win on Saturday would pretty much mark the end of their hopes of playing Champions League football next season.
