CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for the DFB-Pokal final vs RB Leipzig: Haaland starts
The clock is ticking for the most anticipated game of the season. Borussia Dortmund will square off against RB Leipzig for the prestigious DFB-Pokal trophy in Berlin on Thursday.
The Black and Yellows are in their best form of the season at the moment, having won their last five games, including a 3-2 victory over Julian Nagelsmann and RB Leipzig this past weekend. But the form book does not count for much when it comes to cup competitions.
Borussia Dortmund are set to welcome Erling Haaland back to the squad on Thursday, after the Norwegian international traveled with the team to Berlin. Jude Bellingham should also return to the squad after missing Saturday’s game through suspension. While Marwin Hitz will miss out after suffering a knee injury.
Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund will line up for the DFB-Pokal final against RB Leipzig.
Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki
Marwin Hitz suffered a knee injury at the weekend and will miss the three remaining games this season. This means that Roman Bürki will be back in the starting XI on Thursday. Some of his performances this season have been a bit shaky, but a strong display tomorrow would go a long way in helping him restore his confidence.
