Five Borussia Dortmund players were in action in international friendlies on Sunday. Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham, Thomas Delaney and Thorgan Hazard all enjoyed wins. But Erling Haaland and Norway tasted defeat.

Jadon Sancho returned to the England starting XI for their warm-up game against Romania and delivered an encouraging performance on the wing. The Borussia Dortmund forward hit the woodwork with a fine curling effort in the first half. His dribbling and link-up play caused the Romania defenders a lot of problems.

Sancho made way for Jude Bellingham in the second half. And the midfielder came close to scoring his first senior England goal in the final stages of the game. But his shot from close range was cleared off the line.
