Belgium will be aiming to make it two wins out of two as they go up against Denmark on matchday two of the Euro 2020 group stage on Thursday.

Belgium began their Euro 2020 campaign by cruising to a 3-0 win over Russia last week. The Red Devils are among the favourites to win the tournament. And they will be further boosted on Thursday by the potential returns of Axel Witsel and Kevin de Bruyne.

Denmark have endured a difficult start to the European Championships. Midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during the Danes’ matchday one defeat to Finland and is now recovering in hospital. Kasper Hjulmand’s side will be aiming to rally for their teammate as they take on Belgium on Thursday.

Denmark vs Belgium: Predicted starting lineups for Euro 2020 clash

Four Borussia Dortmund players could be involved as Denmark host Belgium at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on matchday two of the Euro 2020 group stage.

Thomas Meunier impressed off the bench in Belgium’s win over Russia, and could make his return to the starting XI against Denmark. Thorgan Hazard should start on the other flank, with Axel Witsel likely to make the bench after recovering from the torn achilles tendon he suffered in January.

Eden Hazard could also be in with a chance to start, having come off the bench against Russia. While Jan Vertonghen is struggling with an ankle injury, making him a doubt for the Denmark game.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Thomas Delaney is set to start in the Denmark midfield alongside Tottenham Hotspur’s Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. RB Leipzig’s Yussuf Poulsen and Barcelona’s Martin Braithwaite will lead the line for the Danes. Here is a look at how Denmark and Belgium could line up for their Euro 2020 group stage clash.
