The reigning world champions overcame the challenge of Germany and Portugal to finish top in Group F. But they will know that they have a lot of improving to do if they want to win the Euros this summer.
France still go into the round of 16 tie as heavy favourites. Les Blues have world-class players in nearly every position. And if their star-studded forwards manage to click into gear, Manuel Akanji and co. could be in for a long night on Monday.
