Borussia Dortmund want to sign Donyell Malen as a replacement for Jadon Sancho. And a report now claims that they have reached an agreement on personal terms with the PSV Eindhoven forward.

Donyell Malen is thought to be Borussia Dortmund’s top transfer target as they look to replace the departing Jadon Sancho. The negotiations appear to be progressing well. And according to SportBILD, the Black and Yellows have reached an agreement with the Dutch international on a long term contract.

The magazine adds that transfer negotiations between the two clubs are also ongoing. There is still a gap between the two clubs’ valuation of Malen. PSV Eindhoven want 30 million euros, while Borussia Dortmund are offering a fee in the region of 25 million euros. But the gap does not appear to be too big, and so an agreement is likely.

Malen is coming off a strong season with PSV, having scored 27 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions. While the former Arsenal youth team player is naturally a striker, he is also capable of playing on the wing and in the number ten role. And his versatility will give Marco Rose the option to use a number of different tactical systems with him in the lineup.

SportBILD also claim that Borussia Dortmund will not be signing Noni Madueke this summer. The England U-21s international has been heavily linked with a move to BVB in recent months. But with PSV not wanting to sell, it looks like he will stay in the Netherlands for at least another year.
