Borussia Dortmund and PSV hope to find Donyell Malen agreement in the coming days

Borussia Dortmund are very serious about their attempts to sign Donyell Malen this summer, and the hope is that an agreement with PSV Eindhoven can be found in the coming days.
This is being reported by the Eindhovens Dagblad, who add that a transfer of Donyell Malen to Borussia Dortmund appears to be getting closer. PSV Eindhoven are expected to receive a transfer fee of more than 25-28 million euros. And the two clubs will aim to reach an agreement on all fronts in the next few days.
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Malen in recent months, but the newspaper adds that they are not in the running at the moment.
Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement over personal terms with Donyell Malen. But Ruhr Nachrichten reported earlier this week that negotiations over the transfer fee are proving to be difficult. The Black and Yellows do not want to meet PSV’s asking price of 30 million euros. Mino Raiola’s consultant fee (that PSV would have to pay) is another matter that is complicating the negotiations.
Malen remains Borussia Dortmund’s top target as they look to replace Jadon Sancho, who is set to join Manchester United. The Netherlands international is coming off a strong season with PSV Eindhoven, having scored 27 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
Borussia Dortmund would like to get the Malen transfer sorted before they head to their training camp in Switzerland on Friday. But it remains to be seen if the potential deal can be completed before then.
