Borussia Dortmund began their season with a 3-0 win over SV Wehen Wiesbaden last weekend. Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick to help kick-off the Marco Rose era with a comfortable win. After only just finishing in the top four last season, Dortmund will want to fight for the Bundesliga title in the upcoming campaign. And in order to do that, they must get off to a good start this season.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s implosion towards the end of last season allowed Borussia Dortmund to take advantage and finish in the top four at their expense. The Eagles will no doubt want to get a measure of revenge this weekend. They go into the new season having lost their head coach and top scorer to Borussia Mönchengladbach and RB Leipzig respectively. But with Oliver Glasner now at the helm, they could be a tricky team to play against this season.
Eintracht Frankfurt got their campaign off to the worst possible start, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to third division side SV Waldhof Mannheim in the first round of the DFB-Pokal last weekend.
