Borussia Dortmund’s injury situation has improved slightly. Emre Can is in with a chance of making the squad after recovering from his calf injury. Mats Hummels and Raphael Guerreiro remain out. As do Thomas Meunier and Julian Brandt, who are in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

Donyell Malen could be in line for his full debut after coming off the bench in the win over SV Wehen Wiesbaden last weekend.

Eintracht Frankfurt should welcome Filip Kostić back into the starting XI. Captain Sebastian Rode will miss the game with a knee injury. Ragnar Ache and Almamy Toure are both injury doubts going into the game. New signing Jens Petter Hauge could be in the squad for the Eagles.
