AFC Ajax vs Borussia Dortmund – October 19 (UEFA Champions League)

Following their game against Mainz, Borussia Dortmund will make the trip to the Netherlands to take on AFC Ajax in the UEFA Champions League group stage. Ajax have made a stunning start to their Champions League campaign and appear to be scoring goals for fun at the moment.

The Dutch giants will offer a big test to Dortmund’s often sloppy defence. Both teams have six points on board at the moment, so this game could be crucial in deciding which team finishes top in the group.

Arminia Bielefeld vs Borussia Dortmund – October 23 (Bundesliga)

Away games against teams in the bottom half of the Bundesliga table tend to be difficult to navigate for Borussia Dortmund. But if they want to win the Bundesliga title this season, the Black and Yellows cannot afford to drop points against the likes of Arminia Bielefeld.

Frank Kramer’s side have yet to earn their first win of the season and currently find themselves in 16th place in the table. Despite their woes, they are a well drilled side that defends with great discipline. So BVB cannot afford to take them lightly.
