Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt

Marco Rose has decided to give Emre Can some rest after the versatile midfielder made his first start since May on Saturday. With Can rested, Axel Witsel comes into the holding midfield role. It will be interesting to see how the Belgian international fares against an attack-minded team like Ajax.

Jude Bellingham has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s standout players so far this season. And he will want to keep his excellent form in the Champions League going on Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see what role Julian Brandt plays on Tuesday. He switched between right wing and attacking midfield on a number of occasions against Mainz. And depending on the formation, his role could be a fluid one against Ajax as well.
