Erling Haaland will reportedly look to earn an annual salary of 30 million pounds if he decides to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer.
Speculation regarding Erling Haaland’s future is showing no signs of slowing down, with several big clubs interested in signing him next summer. ESPN are now claiming that the Borussia Dortmund striker expects to earn wages of 30 million pounds per year if he decides to leave next summer, and senior officials from interested clubs have already been made aware of this.
The report adds that despite the costs involved in any potential deal, Haaland remains a priority target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are in the hunt to sign the 21 year old. Paris St. Germain and FC Barcelona have also been linked with a move for him in the past.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Haaland, who has scored 70 goals in just 69 appearances for Borussia Dortmund since joining the club from RB Salzburg in January 2020. The BVB bosses haven’t yet given up hope of keeping Haaland at the club for at least another year. And the Norwegian international has also said on numerous occasions that he loves playing for the club.
Haaland still has three years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract. Although reports claim that his contract contains a release clause which will become active next summer.
Haaland has made an excellent start to the season, and has found the net 18 times in just 13 appearances for club and country.
