Jude Bellingham has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s top performers this season. And Sebastian Kehl is confident that he will stay at the club for a long time.

Jude Bellingham has been making a lot of waves with his performances for Borussia Dortmund this season. The England international has started in all 15 of the Black and Yellows’ games so far this season, and has established himself as an indispensable player for Marco Rose’s side.

Bellingham’s eye-catching performances over the last 12 months have, of course, seen him attract the interest of a number of teams in the English Premier League. But Sebastian Kehl does not think that the midfielder will leave Borussia Dortmund any time soon. The BVB head of players’ department told Sport1 on Tuesday that the 18 year old is enjoying life at the club.

"“He is a Borussia Dortmund player and will remain a Borussia Dortmund player,” Kehl said. “He feels really comfortable at BVB. He’s loved here and he’s enjoying himself. There are no signs whatsoever that Jude could leave this club any time soon.”"

Kehl also revealed that Bellingham does not have a release clause in his contract, which does not expire until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Jude Bellingham has three goals and seven assists to his name in 15 appearances across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund this season. Three of those goal involvements have come in the UEFA Champions League. And the midfielder continued his fine run of form on Tuesday by delivering a man of the match performance in Dortmund’s 2-0 win over FC Ingolstadt in the second round of the DFB-Pokal.

Bellingham’s performances also saw him get nominated for the Kopa Trophy earlier this month. And he is also on the 20-man shortlist for the 2021 Golden Boy award.
