CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Ajax clash
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund will be looking to get their Champions League campaign back on track as they take on AFC Ajax on Wednesday.
Borussia Dortmund return to UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday as they host AFC Ajax two weeks after suffering a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of the Dutch giants. The Black and Yellows will be looking to gain a measure of revenge. But more importantly, they will want to take a big step towards qualifying for the round of 16.
Marco Rose confirmed during his pre-match press conference that none of the injured players will be back for Wednesday’s game. So Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without the likes of Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna, Raphael Guerreiro, Mahmoud Dahoud, Nico Schulz and Mateu Morey.
Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund will line up for their UEFA Champions League clash against Ajax.
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel
Kobel put in another fantastic performance against Köln at the weekend en-route to Borussia Dortmund’s first Bundesliga clean sheet of the season. The Swiss shot stopper has been one of the team’s best performers this season. And he will be looking for some more help from those in front of him on Wednesday.
