Jude Bellingham laughs off Borussia Dortmund exit rumours

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has rubbished claims that he could be on his way to Liverpool next summer. 

Jude Bellingham is reportedly attracting the interest of Liverpool, with former footballer Craig Hignett bizarrely claiming that he has it on good authority that the move is ‘dead certain’. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder reacted to the rumour on Monday and laughed off claims that he is Liverpool-bound.

Bellingham took to Twitter to share his amusement at the rumour on Monday. He reacted to the speculation by posting a GIF of himself laughing. The tweet was swiftly deleted, but not before it was captured by several people on Twitter.

Bellingham has enjoyed a remarkable rise over the last 12 months and has developed into one of the best young midfielders in the world. So it is easy to see why Liverpool would be interested in signing him. But the 18 year old has never been shy about how much he loves playing for Borussia Dortmund. He is a real fan favourite at the club and has already established himself as one of the leaders in the BVB squad.

Sebastian Kehl also said last month that Bellingham is enjoying life at Borussia Dortmund and there are no signs of him leaving the club anytime soon.

Bellingham, who has been nominated for the Golden Boy award and the Kopa Trophy, has four years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract. He has started in all 16 of the Black and Yellows’ games so far this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
