Jude Bellingham remains a doubt for Borussia Dortmund’s top of the table clash against Bayern Munich next weekend. But Raphael Guerreiro is making good progress and is expected to be fit.

Fresh off an impressive win over VfL Wolfsburg, the Borussia Dortmund players returned to the training ground on Sunday. The Black and Yellows find themselves just one point behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga standings ahead of next weekend’s crunch Der Klassiker at the Signal Iduna Park.

With Erling Haaland, Mahmoud Dahoud and Marius Wolf all fit again, Borussia Dortmund’s injury situation is also easing up. Another player who should be available next weekend is Raphael Guerreiro. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the Portuguese international completed an intensive running session on Sunday and is likely to return to team training soon.

A question marks remains over Jude Bellingham’s availability though. The midfielder suffered a knee injury during the game against Sporting CP on Wednesday and missed the Wolfsburg clash as a result. He received treatment for his injury on Sunday. Ruhr Nachrichten add that the plan is for Bellingham to make his return to training in the middle of next week. But for now, it remains to be seen if he will be able to play against Bayern Munich.

Gio Reyna remains out for now, but Thorgan Hazard could be available next weekend. The Belgian international is currently in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. It will only become clear in the next few days whether he will be available to face Bayern or not.
