Borussia Dortmund reportedly closing in on the signing of Karim Adeyemi

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly reached an agreement with Karim Adeyemi over personal terms, with transfer fee now the only sticking point before a potential move can be completed.
Borussia Dortmund’s interest in signing Karim Adeyemi is no secret. The Black and Yellows have been leading the race for the highly rated RB Salzburg forward for a long time now. And while the likes of FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and a number of other clubs have also shown an interest, Adeyemi appears to be Dortmund bound.
BILD claim that Adeyemi has already said yes to a move to Borussia Dortmund and is set to sign a five year contract with the club in the summer. The BVB bosses are prepared to pay RB Salzburg a transfer fee of 35 million euros, but the Austrian giants want more than 40 million euros for his signature. It will be interesting to see how the transfer poker plays out in the coming weeks.
Adeyemi is enjoying an impressive campaign with RB Salzburg and has scored 15 goals in just 27 appearances across all competitions. Three of those goals have come in the UEFA Champions League, and he helped Salzburg qualify for the round of 16 earlier this week. The 19 year old will finish the season with Salzburg, before leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
All signs currently point to Adeyemi joining Borussia Dortmund. It is worth noting that Dortmund do not consider Adeyemi to be a replacement for Erling Haaland, who is being linked with a move away from the club.
