Report: Borussia Dortmund begin concrete negotiations with RB Salzburg over Karim Adeyemi transfer

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly begun concrete talks with RB Salzburg as they look to seal the signing of highly rated forward Karim Adeyemi.
Borussia Dortmund have been leading the race for the signature of RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi for quite some time now. The player has already said yes to a move to Dortmund, and the two clubs are now said to be in talks as they look to hash out an agreement over the transfer fee.
This is being reported by Sky Sport, who add that BVB bosses Michael Zorc and Sebastian Kehl were both spotted at the Dortmund airport on Monday following their trip to Salzburg. The two clubs have now started concrete negotiations and RB Salzburg want a transfer fee between 30-40 million euros for the highly coveted striker.
Ruhr Nachrichten reported last month that Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign Adeyemi for a fee of less than 30 million euros. So it will be interesting to see how the negotiations between the two clubs play out in the coming weeks and months.
Adeyemi is enjoying a stunning season with RB Salzburg and has scored 18 goals in just 28 appearances for them so far. The 20 year old also helped the Austrian side qualify for the UEFA Champions League round of 16, where they will face Bayern Munich next month.
Adeyemi’s performances have seen him attract the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid. But Borussia Dortmund appear to be the favourites for his signature.
