Borussia Dortmund square off against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday in what should be a cracking contest between two quality teams.

Borussia Dortmund return to Bundesliga action this weekend as they take on third placed Bayer Leverkusen. This is a fixture that usually comes with a guarantee of goals. A total of 50 goals have been scored in the last ten meetings between these two sides. And with the attacking firepower both teams possess, expect another entertaining contest on Sunday.

February could well be a make or break month for Borussia Dortmund’s season. And they will no doubt be keen to start off the month with a statement win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Borussia Dortmund will likely have to make do without Erling Haaland on Sunday. Emre Can is also expected to miss out with a muscle injury. But Thomas Meunier and Gio Reyna look set to return to the squad. Mats Hummels has been dealing with an infection this week and remains unlikely to feature.

Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen.

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel

Gregor Kobel has found clean sheets hard to come by this season despite his stunning performances between the sticks. And he could be in for another busy afternoon on Sunday against Leverkusen’s quality attack.
