Defenders: Emre Can, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

With Thomas Meunier and Marius Wolf both set to miss Sunday’s game, it will be interesting to see who gets the nod to start at right-back.

Emre Can appears to be the likeliest option. But it remains to be seen if he is ready to play from the start, having just recovered from his muscle injury. Felix Passlack is also in the squad, but he hasn’t started a game since August.

Mats Hummels should return to the starting XI after missing the Bayer Leverkusen defeat. He will likely replace Dan-Axel Zagadou, who endured a difficult 90 minutes last weekend. Manuel Akanji will partner Hummels in central defence.

Raphael Guerreiro has also struggled defensively in recent weeks. And fans will be looking to see a much improved performance from the left-back on Sunday.
