Borussia Dortmund face another tough test in the Bundesliga this weekend as they take on Marco Rose’s former club Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend. But another tricky test awaits them against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The pressure is on the Black and Yellows following their 4-2 defeat to Rangers earlier this week. And it will be interesting to see how they respond on Sunday.

Marco Rose faces another selection dilemma ahead of the game, with Manuel Akanji joining Erling Haaland and Thomas Meunier on the sidelines after suffering a torn muscle fibre during Thursday’s defeat. Emre Can could come into the starting XI for the Swiss international.

Borussia Dortmund have won four of their last five games in the Bundesliga, and they will be looking to claim the three points on Sunday to keep the pressure on league leaders Bayern Munich. They will also want to generate some momentum heading into the second leg of the Rangers tie, where they will need to overcome a two goal deficit.

Gladbach are currently 13th in the Bundesliga standings, and will want to claim the three points and move further clear of the relegation playoff spot.
