Augsburg vs Borussia Dortmund: Bundesliga team news

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without Erling Haaland and Marco Reus as they make the trip to Bavaria to take on FC Augsburg on Sunday.
Borussia Dortmund return to Bundesliga action on Sunday, looking to bounce back from their disappointing UEFA Europa League elimination at the hands of Rangers. The Black and Yellows will go up against FC Augsburg, who have won two of the last three games between these two sides at the WWK Arena.
It will be interesting to see how Borussia Dortmund respond to their mid-week disappointment. But getting the three points in Augsburg certainly won’t be easy, especially with several key players likely to miss out on Sunday.
Marco Reus and Thomas Meunier appear set to miss the trip to Augsburg after picking up injuries during Thursday’s game. Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Gio Reyna are already sidelined with their respective injuries. While Emre Can and Raphael Guerreiro are also doubts heading into the game, but both have traveled to Augsburg.
Augsburg have a few injury problems of their own. Alfreð Finnbogason picked up an injury in training, while Andi Zeqiri (who scored in the reverse fixture) has tested positive for Covid-19. Robert Gummy and Tobias Strobl are also sidelined, while André Hahn is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend. January signing Ricardo Pepi is expected to start on the bench once again.
