Sasa Kalajdzic is likely to leave VfB Stuttgart in the summer transfer window, and Borussia Dortmund are among the many clubs showing an interest in signing him.

Sasa Kalajdzic is considered to be one of the most talented young strikers in the Bundesliga, and he looks set for a move away from VfB Stuttgart in the summer. According to Kicker, the chances of the towering striker staying at Stuttgart are diminishing every week, and several clubs from England, Italy and Germany are keeping tabs on him.

The magazine claims that Kalajdzic’s name has already been discussed at Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig. While English Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, as well as Italian Serie A club AS Roma are also interested in his signature.

Kalajdzic enjoyed a stunning breakthrough campaign with VfB Stuttgart last season, and scored 17 goals in 36 appearances for them. However, injuries have prevented the Austrian international from making a similar impact this season.

Kalajdzic is still working his way back to full fitness, and has been limited to just six appearances so far this season. The 24 year old’s absence has been heavily felt in the Stuttgart attack, with the Swabians currently struggling in 17th place in the Bundesliga standings.

Kicker add that there is no release clause in Kalajdzic’s contract with Stuttgart. But he has less than 18 months left on his contract.

Borussia Dortmund may need to sign a new striker in the summer depending on Erling Haaland’s future. The Black and Yellows have been linked with the likes of Patrik SchickSébastien Haller and Timo Werner in recent weeks.
