Youssoufa Moukoko reportedly considering Borussia Dortmund exit due to lack of playing time

Youssoufa Moukoko is reportedly considering making a summer move away from Borussia Dortmund in search of regular first-team football. And a loan move could be the potential solution.
It has been a difficult second season in professional football for Youssoufa Moukoko, who has struggled with a number of injury problems and has found it hard to break into the starting XI. And BILD now claim that the 17 year old is thinking about leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer due to a lack of playing time.
The tabloid adds that Moukoko wants to go to a club where he can be a regular starter. Borussia Dortmund would like to keep him at the club, but a loan move could be the conceivable solution if they cannot convince him to stay. But Moukoko would first have to extend his contract for that to happen.

The Germany U-21s international’s current contract with Borussia Dortmund is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season. His agent claimed in January that it is not a sure thing that Moukoko will extend his contract.
It remains to be seen just how much truth there is to this rumour. Moukoko has not been able to get as much playing time as he would have liked this season, but that has more to do with his injury problems than anything else. He is currently sidelined with a hamstring tear and is expected to return to action towards the end of March.
The highly rated striker has made 17 appearances for Borussia Dortmund so far this season, and has one goal and two assists to his name.
