Borussia Dortmund appear set to face competition from FC Barcelona and Juventus for the signature of Gladbach left-back Ramy Bensebaini.

Signing a new left-back appears to be high on Borussia Dortmund’s list of priorities for the summer transfer window. And the Black and Yellows have been linked with Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini and TSG Hoffenheim’s David Raum in recent days.

Borussia Dortmund’s interest in signing the former has now been confirmed by several outlets. And Sport1 claim that FC Barcelona and Juventus are also in the race to sign Bensebaini.

The 26 year old wants to leave Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer, and the Foals reportedly want a fee in the region of 15-20 million euros for him. Bensebaini’s current contract with Gladbach expires at the end of next season.

Sport1 also claim that Sebastian Kehl had a meeting with Bensebaini’s agent last week, although no potential sums or figures were discussed. If Borussia Dortmund are to sign Bensebaini this summer, they will probably have to sell one of Raphael Guerreiro and Nico Schulz. It has been widely reported that Schulz is free to leave BVB this summer, while Guerreiro has just over an year left on his contract.

Bensebaini has made 19 appearances for Gladbach so far this season, and has five goals and two assists to his name.
