Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on signing Sebastien Haller this summer, but they must first sell players before they can sign the Ajax striker.

With Erling Haaland’s move to Manchester City now confirmed, Borussia Dortmund are intensifying their efforts to find a replacement. A number of strikers have been linked with the Black and Yellows in recent weeks. And it looks like the BVB bosses have made Sebastien Haller their top target for the summer transfer window.

This is being reported by Sport1, who add that Borussia Dortmund have already held promising talks with Haller and a move for the Ajax striker will cost around 35 million euros. Der Spiegel claimed earlier on Thursday that the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker can imagine moving to Dortmund this summer.

But since Borussia Dortmund have already splashed big money to sign Karim Adeyemi and Nico Schlotterbeck, they must first sell some players if they want to bring in Haller this summer.

Manuel Akanji, Nico Schulz, Thorgan Hazard, Emre Can and Raphael Guerreiro are some of the players who could be sold this summer as part of Borussia Dortmund’s squad overhaul. Schlotterbeck has been signed as Akanji’s replacement, and the Swiss international is attracting the interest of Manchester United and Juventus.
