Borussia Dortmund launch home kit for the 2022/23 season
Borussia Dortmund have released their new home kit ahead of the 2022/23 season, and the players will wear it for the first time on Saturday against Hertha BSC.
Borussia Dortmund have launched the home kit that they will be wearing next season just in time for the final game of the current season. The design of BVB’s home shirt for the 2022/23 season has been circulating online for weeks now. And the new home kit is finally here.

Kit supplier Puma has made some big changes to Borussia Dortmund’s home shirt for the 2022/23 season. As always, the BVB home shirt will have a cyber yellow colour. The front of the shirt features four black vertical stripes. The words “Borussia verbindet” (Borussia unites) feature on the neck of the shirt, in a clear message against all forms of discrimination.
The shirt appears to take inspiration from the kit Borussia Dortmund wore during their 2012/13 UEFA Champions League campaign. The Black and Yellows enjoyed a stunning run all the way to the final that year.
The motto of Borussia Dortmund’s home shirt for the 2022/23 season is, “Different from day one.” The home shirt has received generally positive reviews from fans so far.
As always, this shirt will be worn by the Borussia Dortmund players in the Bundesliga. A separate home kit will be released for the UEFA Champions League and DFB-Pokal games. The away kit for the 2022/23 season will also be released in the next few weeks.
