Borussia Dortmund players named in Bundesliga team of the season by their fellow professionals

Jude Bellingham, Nico Schlotterbeck, Niklas Süle and Erling Haaland have all been named in the Bundesliga team of the season by their fellow professionals.
On the back of an excellent second season in the Bundesliga, Jude Bellingham has been named in the VDV team of the season. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder received 47% of the votes by his fellow players.
Nico Schlotterbeck and Niklas Süle are both set to bolster the Borussia Dortmund defence starting from next season. And they have also been voted into the team of the season by their colleagues. Both defenders have enjoyed impressive seasons with their respective clubs. Schlotterbeck received 80% of the votes, while Süle received 31% of the votes.
Erling Haaland, who is set to join Manchester City this summer, has also been included in the team of the season. He received 35% of the votes, and joins Robert Lewandowski in the front two.
Also in the VDV team of the season are RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku, Bayer Leverkusen duo Florian Wirtz and Patrik Schick, Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich, TSG Hoffenheim’s David Raum and SC Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken.
Christopher Nkunku has been named the VDV player of the season, ahead of Robert Lewandowski. While Florian Wirtz has been voted as the young player of the season, ahead of Nico Schlotterbeck. Christian Streich has won the head coach of the season award after guiding SC Freiburg to a sixth place finish in the Bundesliga standings.
All players from the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga and the regional leagues are members of the VDV and are eligible to vote.
