TSG Hoffenheim left-back David Raum has commented on rumours linking him with a move to Borussia Dortmund and other clubs.

Left-back is one of the areas Borussia Dortmund may look to bolster in the coming weeks, with Raphael Guerreiro and Nico Schulz both facing uncertain futures at the club. David Raum is one player who has been linked with a move to BVB, and the German international has now commented on the rumours.

Raum, who is currently undergoing a training camp in Marbella with the Germany national team, was asked about interest from Borussia Dortmund and other clubs during a media round on Thursday. And he refused to rule out a move away from Hoffenheim.

"“Of course you think about it,” Raum told Sport1. “Naturally, I would have liked to have played on the international stage with Hoffenheim. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out. That continues to be a dream for me.”"

TSG Hoffenheim finished ninth in the recently concluded Bundesliga season and failed to qualify for European football. They have since made a coaching change, with André Breitenreiter taking over from Sebastian Hoeneß. And despite rumours about his future, Raum also said that he is looking forward to seeing how things go with the new Hoffenheim head coach.

Raum only joined Hoffenheim last summer from Greuther Fürth, but has already established himself as one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga.

According to Sport1, Borussia Dortmund are one of the many teams interested in signing Raum. A number of clubs from the English Premier League are also keeping tabs on the 24 year old. The Black and Yellows must first sell at least one of Guerreiro and Schulz if they want to sign a new left-back this summer.
