As many as five Borussia Dortmund players could be in action as Germany go up against England in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday.

One of the most highly anticipated matches of this international break will take place on Tuesday as Germany take on England at the Allianz Arena in Munich on matchday two of the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League.

A number of Borussia Dortmund players could be involved in this fixture. Marco Reus, Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi and Julian Brandt are all in the Germany squad, while Jude Bellingham is part of the England team.

But the game will come too soon for Reus, who is back in training after recovering from his illness. He should be an option for Germany’s game against Hungary on Saturday.

Schlotterbeck, Adeyemi and Brandt will all be looking to feature after missing out against Italy. Although it remains to be seen if Hansi Flick will make too many changes to the team that drew 1-1 last weekend. Flick has yet to suffer defeat since taking over as Germany head coach, but England are set to present him with his toughest test yet.

England suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Hungary on Saturday, and they will certainly be determined to return to winning ways on Tuesday. Head coach Gareth Southgate could ring in the changes, with Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish among those who are likely to return to the starting XI. Jude Bellingham will be looking to win his 13th senior cap for England.
