Matchday 18: Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund (January 27-29, 2023)

With the FIFA World Cup taking place in November and December, next season will be a season like no other. The Bundesliga will take a two month break from November to January, and games will come by thick and fast after that.

If Borussia Dortmund are to challenge for the Bundesliga title this season, it will be important for them to hit the ground running after the winter break.

And they face a very tough test early on in 2023 as they go up against Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 18 of the season. The trip to Leverkusen will be Dortmund’s third game after the winter break, and it will give them the opportunity to show their title credentials.

Goals are guaranteed whenever these two sides face off, so expect another entertaining clash at the BayArena in January.
