Highly rated striker Bradley Fink has joined Borussia Dortmund’s training camp in Bad Ragaz to fill in for Sebastien Haller.

Borussia Dortmund have called up Bradley Fink to their training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland as a replacement for Sebastien Haller. The 19 year old will train with the first-team in the coming days as the Black and Yellows gear up for the start of the new season.

Sebastien Haller was forced to leave Borussia Dortmund’s training camp on Monday after a testicular tumour was found during an examination. The Ivory Coast international has traveled to Dortmund to undergo further tests at a specialised medical centre. It remains to be seen how long Haller will be sidelined for.

Bradley Fink was initially due to play for the Borussia Dortmund U-23s this season. But he could now replace Haller in the first-team squad, at least for now. The 19 year old is coming off an excellent season with the BVB U-19s.

Fink scored 35 goals in just 31 appearances across all competitions for the young Black and Yellows last season, and also found the net two times for the U-23s in the 3. Liga. His performances for the U-19s helped him draw comparisons with Erling Haaland.

There are just ten days left before Borussia Dortmund’s first competitive game of the new season. Edin Terzic’s side will go up against third division side 1860 Munich in the first round of the DFB-Pokal on July 29. They still have one more pre-season friendly to play before that (against Villarreal CF on July 22).
