Borussia Dortmund are being linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, who could be available on a free transfer next summer.
The summer transfer window is still several months away, but transfer rumours are already starting to heat up. BILD are claiming that Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is high on Borussia Dortmund’s list for next summer. And they are keeping tabs on his contract situation with Liverpool.
The 27 year old could leave Liverpool next summer, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. And a return to the Bundesliga could be on the cards for Keita, with BVB apparently showing interest in his signature.
It still remains to be seen just how real Borussia Dortmund’s interest is in Naby Keita. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the Black and Yellows will only consider making a potential move for Keita if Jude Bellingham leaves the club next summer.
The England international is attracting the interest of a number of big clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid. But Borussia Dortmund are determined to keep the 19 year old at the club, and are ready to offer him a new contract. Bellingham still has three years left on his current contract with BVB.

Naby Keita joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in 2018 and has made a total of 117 appearances for Jürgen Klopp’s side. Liverpool are interested in extending his contract beyond the end of the season. But it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
