Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup vs Hannover 96
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund will be in DFB-Pokal action on Wednesday as they make the trip to Lower Saxony to take on 2. Bundesliga side Hannover 96.
Borussia Dortmund’s unrelenting run of fixtures continues on Wednesday as they go up against Hannover 96 in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. Edin Terzic’s side will be desperate to return to winning ways after losing to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga at the weekend. But Hannover 96 will be determined to pull off an upset, and we could be in for quite a cup contest between the two teams.
It will be interesting to see if Terzic decides to rotate his squad for Wednesday’s game. With a number of English weeks still to come, it would make a lot of sense to give some of the key players a bit of a breather. In addition to Borussia Dortmund’s long-term absentees, Marius Wolf will miss Wednesday’s game. Marco Reus has also not traveled to Hannover, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.
Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their DFB-Pokal second round tie against Hannover 96.
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel
Gregor Kobel had arguably his worst game in a Borussia Dortmund shirt on Sunday, and he will be eager to bounce back by putting in a strong shift in goal on Wednesday.
