Karim Adeyemi (7/10)

Adeyemi put in a hard working shift down the right wing. He missed a golden chance early in the game but also set up a couple of really good opportunities for his teammates. The former RB Salzburg forward also did his defensive duties really well, almost playing as a wing-back at times.

Gio Reyna (6/10)

Reyna had a fairly quiet game for the most part but did link up well with his teammates at times. He had a decent chance to score in the first half, and he will feel that he should have done better with that opportunity.

Youssoufa Moukoko (7/10)

Youssoufa Moukoko continued his fine run of form with another strong performance up front. He may have missed a couple of good chances, but he held the ball up superbly and looked dangerous in transition. His movement caused the Manchester City defenders a lot of problems in the first half.

There was a moment in the second half when Moukoko ran across the length of the pitch to crucially stop a Manchester City counter attack. That moment showed his determination and perfectly summed up the Borussia Dortmund striker’s battling performance.
