Borussia Dortmund’s penultimate game of 2022 will see them take on VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Tuesday.

Borussia Dortmund will make the trip to Lower Saxony to take on VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Tuesday. The Black and Yellows have won their last three games in the league, and they will be aiming to end 2022 by adding six more points to their tally this week.

VfL Wolfsburg are also in fine form at the moment, and have not suffered a defeat in their last seven games. So we could be in for a hard fought contest between the two teams at the Volkswagen Arena on Tuesday evening.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Marco Reus against Wolfsburg, after the club captain suffered another setback despite making his comeback from injury on Saturday. BVB also will have to make do without seven first-team players who are currently sidelined with injuries and illness.

Edin Terzic may look to rotate his team slightly on Tuesday, with one eye on Friday’s trip to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Jude Bellingham and Emre Can are both one yellow card away from a one-match suspension.

Wolfsburg do not have too many injury problems to deal with, although Kevin Paredes and Bartol Franjic are sidelined at the moment. Max Kruse has fallen out of favour and hasn’t played for Wolfsburg since early September.
