Hans-Joachim Watzke has revealed that Borussia Dortmund will hold talks with Jude Bellingham regarding his future after the FIFA World Cup.

Jude Bellingham’s incredible rise at Borussia Dortmund has seen him attract the interest of a number of big clubs in Europe. The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are all said to be eyeing a move for him. The Black and Yellows are keen to keep him at the club beyond the end of the season, but Hans-Joachim Watzke has admitted that they cannot financially compete with the really big clubs.

During an appearance on BILD-TV on Sunday, the Borussia Dortmund CEO revealed that they will hold talks with the midfielder and his family after the World Cup is over.

"“I think as soon as Qatar is over. We will have a general discussion about what he actually wants. With him, with his parents, with whom we have a very close relationship. And of course with his advisor.”“And then he should just tell us whether he wants to stay or whether he wants to leave. In both cases, we will have a very pleasant and reasonable discussion with each other. But we don’t have to pretend that the issue is not on the table. If the really big clubs are involved, then we can’t afford to have a fight financially.”"

Bellingham is enjoying another stellar season with Borussia Dortmund and has established himself as one of the world’s best young players. He has nine goals and three assists to his name in 22 appearances so far this season. And he has also taken on a leadership role in the team.
