The Borussia Dortmund players with contracts expiring at the end of the season

A number of key Borussia Dortmund players have just over six months left on their current contracts with the club.
The Borussia Dortmund bosses are set to face several key personnel decisions in the coming months, with a number of important players set to be out of contract in the summer. A total of eight first-team players have just over six months left on their contracts with the Black and Yellows.
And they will be free to hold talks with other clubs starting from next month ahead of a potential move on a free transfer next summer.
Club captain Marco Reus is on top of the list, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season. The 33 year old has already made it clear that he wants to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund, and talks will take place towards the end of the season.
BVB vice-captain Mats Hummels will also be out of contract in the summer. But after rolling back the years with his performances this season, he appears set to receive a one-year contract extension.
Youssoufa Moukoko is another player Borussia Dortmund will be keen to tie down to a new contract. The highly rated striker’s contract is about to expire, and some of Europe’s biggest clubs are already in the hunt for his signature. Talks between BVB and Moukoko are expected to resume in January.
The contracts of Mahmoud Dahoud, Raphael Guerreiro, Anthony Modeste, Felix Passlack, and Luca Unbehaun will also expire at the end of the season.
There has been plenty of speculation about their futures in recent months. And it will be interesting to see how Sebastian Kehl and co. go about their squad planning for next season.
