Borussia Dortmund will return to action on Tuesday afternoon as they take on second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf in a friendly match.

The winter break is almost over and Borussia Dortmund are currently in Marbella preparing for the second half of the season. The Black and Yellows will play two friendly matches as part of their training camp, and the first of those games will see them go up against second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf on Tuesday.

The game will give Edin Terzic the opportunity to build his players’ match rhythm ahead of the start of the second half of the season. The 40 year old will also be keen to make some tweaks on the tactical side of things ahead of the crunch games in the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, and the DFB-Pokal.

Borussia Dortmund took a 28-man squad to Marbella for their training camp. And the majority of those players should be available to feature in Tuesday’s friendly. Marco Reus is fit again after recovering from his ankle injury.

While BILD are claiming that Sebastien Haller could also feature in the game. The striker is back in training and is making strong progress in his recovery from testicular cancer.

Mateu Morey is not expected to be available just yet. But the right-back is also inching towards his return to action.
