Marco Reus’ agent spotted at RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich amid transfer speculation
Marco Reus’ agent Dirk Hebel was a guest at the Red Bull Arena on Friday evening for RB Leipzig’s Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich.
The future of Marco Reus has become somewhat uncertain in recent weeks, with his agent claiming earlier this month that they are keeping all options open at the moment. The Borussia Dortmund captain’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and talks over an extension have not taken place yet.
RB Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl recently said that a player like Reus can make any team stronger with his experience.
And the 33 year old’s agent Dirk Hebel was spotted at the Red Bull Arena on Friday during RB Leipzig’s 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. According to Sky Sport, Hebel went to the game at the invitation of RB Leipzig. Hebel was also spotted in the crowd at Old Trafford recently during the Manchester derby.
It still remains to be seen if RB Leipzig are really interested in signing Marco Reus on a free transfer in the summer. Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl said recently that he is relaxed about the attacking midfielder’s future. Reus has also said in the past that he would like to stay at BVB until the end of his playing career.
But reports claimed earlier this month that Marco Reus has been left annoyed by the fact that talks over an extension have not taken place yet, even though there are less than six months left on his current contract.
