Borussia Dortmund are said to be closing in on the signing of Julien Duranville, with reports claiming that an agreement has already been reached between the two clubs.

Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of completing the signing of highly rated winger Julien Duranville from Anderlecht, with reports claiming that the transfer could be made official this week. According to L’Equipe, the 16 year old will undergo his medical tests on Thursday before signing a four and a half year contract with BVB.

The French newspaper adds that the two clubs have also reached an agreement on the transfer fee. Borussia Dortmund will pay Anderlecht an initial fee of 8.5 million euros plus a further 3 million euros in performance related add-ons for the Belgium U-19s international.

Julien Duranville is a product of the Anderlecht youth academy, and rose through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut for the Belgium club in May last year.

He has made a total of 11 appearances for the Anderlecht first-team, and became the youngest goalscorer in Jupiler Pro League history in September. Primarily a left winger, Duranville is also capable of playing on the right and through the middle.

Duranville is considered to be one of the most exciting young players in Belgium. And he is now set to join Borussia Dortmund, where he will look to take the next steps in his development.
