Borussia Dortmund will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the Bundesliga as they take on Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

A cracking contest awaits Bundesliga fans on Sunday evening as Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen go head to head at the BayArena. The Black and Yellows have started 2023 with dramatic wins over Augsburg and Mainz. But Bayer Leverkusen are in fine form at the moment, and could cause a lot of problems to Edin Terzic’s side this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund won the reverse fixture 1-0, with Marco Reus scoring the winning goal in the first half. But after a difficult start to the season, Bayer Leverkusen are finally hitting their stride and go into Sunday’s game on the back of a five-game winning streak in the Bundesliga. Xabi Alonso’s side beat Borussia Mönchengladbach last weekend, before cruising to a 2-0 win over VfL Bochum in mid-week.

Borussia Dortmund will be boosted by the return of Jude Bellingham this weekend. The England international is set to spearhead the BVB midfield once again after missing Wednesday’s game through suspension. Thomas Meunier and Mateu Morey are the only BVB players currently sidelined with injuries.
