Borussia Dortmund will continue their charge for the Bundesliga title on Sunday evening as they take on Hertha Berlin.

Borussia Dortmund will host Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga this weekend in what should be another very exciting contest. The Black and Yellows have won their last seven matches in all competitions. And they will be aiming to clinch a straightforward win against the relegation threatened Berliners on Sunday.

Edin Terzic revealed during his pre-match press conference that there are no new injury concerns for Borussia Dortmund to deal with. But Youssoufa Moukoko, Julien Duranville and Mateu Morey are all sidelined. We could see a few changes to the starting XI after Wednesday’s gruelling battle against Chelsea.

Gregor Kobel was one of Borussia Dortmund’s top performers in the win over Chelsea. And he will start between the sticks again on Sunday, looking to make it three clean sheets in a row in all competitions.

Julian Ryerson should return to the starting XI on Sunday after coming off the bench against Chelsea. The right-back has made a strong start to his BVB career and could have a big impact against Hertha Berlin. Raphael Guerreiro has been in fine attacking form in recent weeks. And his creativity from left-back could be a useful weapon in unlocking the Hertha defence.

Mats Hummels could come into the starting XI, with Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck both in line for some rest. Nico Schlotterbeck has played in all 20 of Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga games so far this season and is the likelier of the two to start on Sunday.

Emre Can has cemented his place in the starting XI and should start in the number six role against Hertha. With Borussia Dortmund likely to have the majority of the ball, we could see a more attack-minded formation.

Jude Bellingham will start in the number eight role, with Marco Reus also expected to return to the starting XI. The Borussia Dortmund captain will be eager to make an impact after being left on the bench against Chelsea.

In attack, Karim Adeyemi will look to build on his winner against Chelsea. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could come into the team if Terzic decides to rest Julian Brandt.

Sebastien Haller is another player who could do with a bit of a breather, so Anthony Modeste could come into the starting XI. He scored the winner in the reverse fixture, and another goal on Sunday would do his confidence a whole lot of good.
