Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 will collide this weekend in what will be the 100th edition of the Revierderby in Bundesliga history.

Borussia Dortmund will make the short journey to Gelsenkirchen on Saturday to take on arch-rivals Schalke 04 in a game that could have massive implications on both ends of the Bundesliga table.

The Black and Yellows will be determined to keep pace with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga standings. After being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League earlier this week, Edin Terzic’s side will be eager to bounce back and make sure that their charge for the Bundesliga title remains on track.

Schalke 04, on the other hand, will be desperate to continue their fine run of form and avoid relegation to the second division, just one year after being promoted.
