Borussia Dortmund moved to the top of the Bundesliga standings after cruising to a 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening.

What a difference a week can make! Just seven days after their inexplicable collapse against Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund have a one point lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings with five games left to play in the season.

The Black and Yellows hammered Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 on Saturday evening and managed to take full advantage of Bayern Munich’s shock defeat away to Mainz 05. Goals from Jude Bellingham, Donyell Malen (x2) and Mats Hummels helped Borussia Dortmund claim a vital win over the undermanned Eagles.

It certainly wasn’t a vintage performance from Borussia Dortmund. But they were at their clinical best and managed to make the most of their chances. The result will come as a massive boost for Edin Terzic’s side, who now find themselves five wins away from winning the Bundesliga title.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Gregor Kobel (6/10)

Kobel wasn’t tested as much as Eintracht Frankfurt would have liked. But he still stepped up whenever called upon and claimed a well earned clean sheet.
