Borussia Dortmund reportedly have highly rated Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga on their list of targets to replace Jude Bellingham.

It is increasingly likely that Jude Bellingham will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, with Real Madrid leading the race for his signature. The BVB bosses are already scouting potential options to replace the England international. And SportBILD claim that the Black and Yellows are keeping an eye on talented Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga.

The 20 year old is enjoying an excellent breakthrough campaign in La Liga, and has earned rave reviews for his playmaking and ability to control the game in midfield. He likes to venture forward with the ball at his feet, but is also more than capable of making clever runs without the ball.

Gabri Veiga has scored nine goals and assisted a further four in 31 La Liga appearances for Celta Vigo this season. He is capable of playing both in the number eight role and as an attacking midfielder.

Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are also said to be interested in signing Veiga. The Spain U-21s international is expected to leave Celta Vigo in the summer. He has a release clause of 40 million euros in his contract, which Borussia Dortmund will likely be able to afford if Bellingham leaves the club in the summer. But it remains to be see how serious BVB’s interest is in signing Veiga.
