Sebastian Kehl believes that Bayern Munich have more to lose than Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga title race, with two games left until the end of the season.

The Bundesliga title race is set to go down to the wire this season, with Borussia Dortmund currently trailing Bayern Munich by one point in the standings with two more matches left to be played. The Black and Yellows are playing the role of the hunters in the Bundesliga title race, and Sebastian Kehl sees the situation as a positive one for them.

"During his appearance on Sky90 on Sunday, the Borussia Dortmund sporting director said: “Bayern are now in a situation that is relatively unfamiliar to them. They have more to lose than they can win. That’s why I see our situation as the hunters currently as rather positive. I think we’ll win both games, and then we’ll see how Bayern do.”"

Matchday 32 saw Bayern Munich hand Borussia Dortmund’s arch-rivals Schalke 04 a 6-0 hammering. Edin Terzic’s side followed suit by dispatching Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2. It will be BVB’s turn to face Bayern’s local rivals this weekend, as they travel to Bavaria to take on FC Augsburg.

Borussia Dortmund have not won a game away from home in any competition since late February. And they will be desperate to change that that unwanted record on Sunday to take the title race to the final day of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season.

Bayern Munich have won their last three games and will have the opportunity to go four points clear as they take on RB Leipzig at home on Saturday. Borussia Dortmund will be hoping for a favour from former head coach Marco Rose, who has steered Leipzig to third place in the Bundesliga standings after their poor start to the season.
