Jürgen Klopp: No secret that I want Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga title

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp hopes that Borussia Dortmund can pip Bayern Munich and win the Bundesliga title this season.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are neck and neck in the Bundesliga title race with just two games left to play this season. Just one point separates the top two in the Bundesliga, and the title race is all set to go down to the wire.

Former Borussia Dortmund head coach Jürgen Klopp, who is now in charge at Liverpool, has given his thoughts on the Bundesliga title race. In an interview with SportBILD, the 55 year old said:

"“It’s no secret that I want BVB to be champions. Because what you experience afterwards is something you never forget: with the trophy around the Borsigplatz, that’s still one of the really big highlights of my career.”"

Klopp, who led Borussia Dortmund to their last Bundesliga title back in 2012, added that he is keeping his fingers crossed for Edin Terzic’s side to finally end their 11 year wait and lift the Meisterschale this season.

"“I believe the boys can do it! The chance is so big, they’ll take it! I’m keeping my fingers crossed in front of the TV from Liverpool. After eleven years, the trophy should return to Dortmund!”"

The 2022/23 Bundesliga season is all set for a thrilling conclusion. Bayern Munich will have the opportunity to take a massive step in their bid to win the Bundesliga title on Saturday as they go up against third placed RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena. Borussia Dortmund will be hoping that Marco Rose’s side can get a win or a draw against Bayern to boost their chances of winning the Bundesliga title.

The Black and Yellows will then be in action on Sunday against Bayern’s local rivals FC Augsburg, who are battling to avoid relegation at the moment. Borussia Dortmund will face Mainz 05 on the final day of the season, while Bayern will go up against FC Köln.
